PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve inventory change of each materials or the total of materials by producing an intermediate file which estimates a stock number, a stock amount, storage quantity in a warehouse and shipped quantity in each term from materials demand and order residual information. SOLUTION: A required development engine 11 produces a new materials command from a product required order file 23, the current stock information file 27, etc., and outputs it to a materials demand file 25. An inventory calculation engine 12 reads a record of certain materials for one day from the file 25 and calculates required quantity for one day. Also, it reads records for one day from a materials arrangements order file 24 and calculates order residual quantity (estimated storage quantity in a warehouse) for one day. And, it calculates estimated storage quantity in a warehouse, an estimated amount for storage in a warehouse, required quantity and a required amount on a month unit and outputs the calculation results of inventory to an IN-OUT file 26. An inventory change calculating part 14 adds up stock quantities of object materials from the file 26 at the end of each term, performs calculation in every month and outputs a monthly inventory graph.
