摘要

PURPOSE: To produce a high purity zirconium oxychloride(ZCO) octahydrate crystal in high yield by directly crystallizing from a zirconium oxychloride aq. solution containing a large quantity of NaCl. ;CONSTITUTION: The zirconium oxychloride crystal is produced by adjusting the weight ratio of zirconium oxychloride expressed in terms of NaCl/ZrO₂ in a zirconium aq. solution larger than 0.35 to 6-10wt.% conc. expressed in terms of ZrO₂, 11-14wt.% free HCl conc. and ≤0.35 weight ratio of NaCl/ZrO₂, causing zirconium oxychloride octahydrate to be deposited by cooling and separating the deposited zirconium oxychloride octahydrate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
