PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that there is a restriction that an alarm can not be stably issued as the alarm can not work if an operator of a hydraulic back hoe forgets to do switching operation of the hydraulic back hoe and the hydraulic back hoe can not be moved freely by the lower traveling body because the alarm device and the hydraulic back hoe are connected by a harness.;SOLUTION: The alarm device is applied for a field where a deep shaft is excavated and provided with a detection means detecting that an excavator like a clamshell bucket or the like attached to the front end of an elongating arm of a construction machine or the like has approached the shaft under excavation, a control means which outputs an alarm signal on the basis of the detected signal, and an alarm means issuing an alarm on the basis of the alarm signal from the control means.
