PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of there being cases in which an LD emits abnormal light at turning on or off of the power source of an LD drive circuit, and when this LD abnormal light emission occurs, an optical passive network for executing a pair of plurality of communications fails to transmit.;SOLUTION: A voltage-monitoring circuit and an LD power source opening/ closing circuit are added to the LD drive circuit, the occurrence of the LD abnormal light emission is suppressed by deviating timing of turning on or off of the LD power source opening/closing circuit turning on or off of the power source.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
