DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF RAW MATERIAL.AUXILIARY MATERIAL BAKING NATURAL LEAF VEIN ON CERAMICS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the leaf is very rarely baked with clearness of a leaf vein by shrinking or moving with heat convention in a furnace because of moisture or a proper peculiarity of the leaf, so in the case of baking a natural leaf vein on a ceramic, a specific leaf is selected carefully and is naturally put on the ceramic after glazing and baked with a final firing, resulting in a product expensive and not meeting the needs of interest or will to make of artist for pleasure.;SOLUTION: Mesophyll of the natural leaf is treated with sodium hydroxide, and water glass which has been used a small amount so as to promote elongation or die releasing of casting clay is used as a main material, and an aqueous glaze prepared by mixing water and a glaze with the water glass is adhered on the leaf vein material, and this is put on surface of the ceramic heated previously, and completed with the final firing after provisional baking by pressing with a heat resistant raw material from the top.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
