PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection simulation device calculating precisely a fuel liquid film thickness near an outlet of a nozzle hole and not needing using experimental values or experience values, a fuel injection simulation method, and a recording medium readable by a computer recorded with a fuel injection simulation program.;SOLUTION: A fuel circulation characteristic calculating part 21 predicts the liquid film thickness and a flow rate of fuel spray injected from the nozzle hole in a liquid film shape. Predicting the liquid film thickness and the flow rate is done by a gas-liquid two-phase flow three-dimensional CFD. By analyzing it as a gas-liquid two-phase flow, the fuel liquid film thickness near the outlet of the nozzle hole can be precisely calculated. From the calculated value, an initial average particle size of the fuel is calculated at an initial average particle size calculating part 22 for forming a particle size distribution at a particle distribution forming part 23. From these calculated values, an injection characteristic simulation is performed at an injection characteristic simulating part 24 for indicating the results on a display 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
