PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lightly open and close a door body by reducing the climbing resistance of a rotating friction body in a halfway stopping device, and to nullify the stop function of the halfway stopping device.;SOLUTION: This halfway stopping device S includes a main roller 21, the rotating friction body 22, a braking body 24 and a braking rail 15. The rotating friction body 22 gets over a braking part 34 while being rotated by turning moment of the main roller 21. The braking body 24 opposite to the main roller 21 is switched by a switching device T formed by a solenoid 40 to thereby make ineffective the halfway stop function of the halfway stopping device S or return the device to the effective state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
