PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step stool superior in convenience for housing and having a structure for forming a stable installing state at using time.;SOLUTION: This step stool 1 is provided with a caster mechanism 10 for maintaining this state even after removing a load by allowing the lower end of a side plate 3 to abut to a floor surface by applying the load to the step stool 1 and returning to a travel position for separating the side plate 3 from the floor surface by relatively simple operation and a leg part structure 40 for forming the side plate 3 in a stable shape by opening in a bottom opened V letter shape by applying the load to the step stool 1, maintaining this shape even after removing the load and returning to a closing position by closing the side plate 3 by the relatively simple operation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
