PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a plastic clip to bind a bag mouth, of which the clamping is less favorable compared with a metal clip.;SOLUTION: In a hammer supporting block 20, a passage 22 wherein a thin and flat sliding hammer 21 reciprocates is provided. At the same time, on the confronted surface with the sliding hammer 21 of a hammer base 23 which is adjacent to the hammer supporting block 20, a curved groove 24 which shapes a horseshoe-shape clip 10 into a ring-shape is formed. Then, the open end of a connected article 11 of the horseshoe-shape clips being wound on a reel is set in the passage 22. For this binding device, a heating means 30 made of two cartridges in order to plastically deform the clip made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin is arranged in the hammer support block 20.
