PURPOSE: To shorten a time required from inserting one terminal to inserting the next terminal, by constituting a terminal transfer feed mechanism by a reciprocatable terminal supplying head and terminal inserting head between prescribed positions. ;CONSTITUTION: A terminal supplying head 15 is moved to a position of separating a terminal 3 with electric wire, to clamp an electric wire part of the terminal 3 with electric wire, locked by a clip 2a of an electric wire clamp pole 2, by an electric wire clamping pawl 17a. A terminal clamping pawl 18a holds the terminal part. Next the head 15 is pulled up to separate the terminal 3 from the clip 2a. Thereafter, the terminal 3 is conveyed to a delivery position by operating an air cylinder 12. Next an electric wire clamping pawl 28a of a terminal inserting head 21 is closed to clamp an electric wire part of the terminal 3. Then the terminal clamping pawl 18a of the head 15 is opened to complete delivery operation of the terminal 3 with electric wire.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
