PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simultaneous mailing and chatting method, with which a receiver of a mail sends the mail to a transmitter and can immediately try chatting.;SOLUTION: The simultaneous pop-mailing and chatting method is constituted of a stage where the mail transmitter generates the mail, a stage where a port number for driving a chat server program required for chatting is given from a CH server, a stage where an own log in ID, a given port number and an IP address/host name are filled in a mail header and the mail is sent, a stage where the receiver depresses a chat key when he or she desires chatting after the mail is received, a stage where the presence or absence of the chat response of the chat receiver is confirmed and a stage where the mail transmitter/receiver chat by using a chat client program in each own computer when the chat response is given from the chat receiver.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
