METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING SUBWAY TUNNEL WITH TWO-STAGE SHIELD MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance utilization efficiency of a shield machine by extending the section of execution by at two-stage shield machine, make the execution more efficient, and reduce construction costs.;SOLUTION: A first shaft 35 is constructed at an end of one side of a station part 36; the two-stage shield machine M, housing child shield machines 2A and 2B, is assembled inside the first shaft 35; the shield machine M is started from the first shaft 35 so as to excavate the station part 36; and when the shield machine M reaches the second shaft 39 constructed at an end on the other side of the station part 36, the shield machines 2A and 2B are started to excavate a line part 37 continuing into the station part 36. A parent shield machine 1 is dismantled to be removed from the second shaft 39 and constructed at an end on one side of a next station part 38 in order to be assembled inside a third shaft 40; and when reaching the third shaft 40 of the station part 38, the shield machines 2A and 2B are made to coalesce into the shield machine 1, so that the station part 38 can be excavated by the shield machine M, in which the shield machines 2A and 2B coalesce into the shield machine 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
