PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CAD system which generates CAD data file which includes information to specify a terminal or a place, where the CAD data file has been generated, and has a high reliability of this information. SOLUTION: The CAD system is provided with a temporary storage means where first graphic information included in a read file is stored, an input processing means which stores inputted second graphic information in the temporary storage means, a peculiar data storage means where a symbol string peculiar to this device is so stored that it can be changed by a user, and a file generation means which outputs a file including first and second graphic information stored in the temporary storage means and the symbol string stored in the peculiar data storage means.
