PURPOSE: To precisely bond gold class metal such as gold or gold alloys as a coating layer over a substrate metal as well as to change the thickness of the coating layer as required. ;CONSTITUTION: When a substrate metal such as copper, aluminum and the like is formed so as to be machined, wire electric discharge machining is employed wherein a wire made of gold class metal such as gold or gold alloys is used as a wire electrode. By this constitution, the employment of wire electric discharge machining allows not only each complicate shape to be freely machined but also a precise bonding condition to be surely realized due to a micro diffusion of gold or gold alloys contained in the wire electrode through a discharge phenomenon by gold class metal.
