PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous body with the foam size of ≤200 μm required as the intermediate layer for artificial leather by appropriately suppressing the impregnation of the latex foam into the base material.;SOLUTION: In the synthetic leather formed by laminating the base material, the porous intermediate layer and the surface skin layer in order, the impregnation deepness of the latex foam into the base material is controlled to ≤50% of the thickness of the base material, when the base material is coated with the latex foam on at least one face to provide the porous intermediate layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
