UNDERGROUND LOW TENSION BRANCH AND DISTRIBUTION TRUNK LINE BRANCH IN UNDERGROUND LOW TENSION GRID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and compact underground branch, simple to connect with easy maintenance, waterproofing over a long period of time.;SOLUTION: When making two branch connection to an underground distribution trunk line, a conductor 1 in the laid shape of letter K is formed of an upper straight conductor 2 and lower conductor 5 bent in the form of a chevron in plan view. Out of the four ends, 2a, 5a, of the conductor 1, flat tab terminals 6 are provided at the ends of the bent conductor 5 to connect to the trunk line, and flat tab terminals 3 at either end of the straight conductor 2 for branch line connection. The conductors are all covered with an insulator 1a except the terminals 3, 6. When making one branch from the trunk line, an inverted Y shape conductor is used with the top of the conductor bent at a right angle and bending the upper and lower conductors akimbo in plan.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
