PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a net body for vegetation, used for the purpose of providing a vegetation mat capable of absorbing stormwater by being laid on a slope face, retaining the absorbed stormwater stably, and promoting the germination and growth of a seed and other purposes. SOLUTION: In the net body for vegetation, a string body, having a water absorbing property and constituted by arranging water absorption swelling fiber, is used for at least part of a vertical string 41 and/or a horizontal string 42.
