(57) Abstract In lengthwise the retreat possible device designates the packing material inside tubular liquid kuromatogurahuikaramu as the compact. That device, the first support component, includes the second support component and the movable support component. The movable support component for supporting installation and removal is connection possible unrestrictedly in the second support component. When it leaves from the second support component, the movable component becomes movement possible depending upon the guide component which is expanded between the first and second support component. Compressed mechanism, is supported on the movable support component, together the pulling tsu moves to the position where it is packed in lengthwise of this device. Compressed mechanism includes possible rod the reversal possible drive because of movement in the axis direction which supports the movable piston. When you can install the movable support component in the second support component, the piston of compressed mechanism, when the column is supported on the first support component, becomes movable with one end of the tubular column. When inside the column the piston driving to the end of opposite side of the column with the movement of axis direction of the movable piston, the column packing material is compressed. The device can expand in vertical direction, at the same time the end piston is inserted to the opposite end of the column, when or desiring the fact that the end piston is removed from there, or when in order to do the packing with this device, desiring the fact that the adapter ring on the first support component is changed in order to accept the column which has various diameters, because ascent and descent it can point the column, installation and removal can connect to the tubular column unrestrictedly.
