PURPOSE: To prevent the temporary liquid flow stoppage and the pressure rise in a butler bottle and to accurately control the flow rate in a separation chamber in a flow passage switching mechanism for an elutriator cell separation system by normally making at least one flow passage communicate with the separation chamber. ;CONSTITUTION: Piping 9, 10; 12, 13 are connected to a buffer bottle 1 and a sample bottle 2 respectively. The piping 9, 12; 10, 13 are provided so that they may reach the upper parts and the bottom parts of the bottles respectively. The other end of the piping 10 is connected to piping 11 and the other ends of the piping 12, and the other end of the piping 13 is connected to the other end of the piping 11 and piping 19. The other end of the piping 9 is connected to a beaker 7 through a liquid transfer pump 8, and the other end of the piping 14 is connected to a separation chamber 6. The piping 11 and the piping 12 are provided with valves 4, 5 respectively whose opening and closing is controlled by a three-point switch 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
