PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength control device capable of restraining a laser beam reflected from an FBG from returning to a laser beam source and a stable wavelength laser beam generating device.;SOLUTION: A wavelength control device is equipped with a light branching means 122 through which a laser beam guided by a fiber 143 from a laser beam source 110 is branched into a first and a second laser beam, an FBG 210 which transmits a laser beam of prescribed wavelength included in the ramified first laser beam and reflects other laser beams of different wavelengths, and a light volume change detecting means 126 which detects a light volume change in a laser beam penetrating through the FBG 210. A laser beam reflected from the FBG 210 is directed to travel out of the fiber 143, and the detected light volume change is fed back to the laser beam source 110.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
