PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an accelerating energy variable, without spoiling bunching characteristic (convergence performance of an energy distribution) of a pulse-like charged beam.;SOLUTION: An accelerator tube is constituted of resonance cavities continuously arranged in large number at a continuously connected state in the direction of a center axis line, and accelerates gradually the pulse-like charged beam which is incident on the resonant cavities along the center axis line, in the direction of the center axis line by the electric fields in each resonant cavities, wherein a phase regulation means to adjust the phase of the electric field to the resonance cavities is prepared.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
