PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient portable test instrument which can test the framework, exterior material, interior material or finish material of an existing building conveniently in the field and can evaluate various performances, e.g. material strength, degree of deterioration, stripping resistance, or the like, quickly.;SOLUTION: The unitized convenient portable test instrument comprises a rotary power tool (10) being fitted replaceably with a forward end bit (17) for boring, polishing or sticking the compositional member of an existing building (B), a grasping case (21) being fitted over the rotary power tool (10) such that it can advance or retract relatively to the rotary power tool, and a member (24) for applying a constant pressing force to the rotary power tool (10) from the rear and urging it toward the surface of the existing building (B).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
