PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer composition capable of excellently bonding a silicone rubber coating to an engineering plastic substrate and a formed body, high in initial adhesiveness and adhesion durability, built by using the primer composition. SOLUTION: The primer composition comprises a polyorganohydrogensiloxane with its molecule having at least two hydrogen atoms connecting to the silicon atom in the Q unit, tri- or tetraalkoxysilane, condensation catalyst, platinum- based compound, and organic solvent to be added as required. The primer composition is applied to the surface of a substrate made of an engineering plastic, and then a coating made of an addition reaction type silicone rubber is brought into contact with the applied primer composition. The primer composition is allowed to harden, which results in A formed body. Such a formed body is excellent in initial adhesiveness and adhesion durability.
