PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diversity of a closed-loop transmission antenna which adopts a selective coupling method, where imbalance in output between antennas is eliminated by applying sets of complex number base vectors to antenna selection base vectors, thus obtaining feedback information for antenna selection.;SOLUTION: Channel information is measured from a signal, transmitted through a plurality of antennas installed at a base station and outputted in a matrix form, and the outputted channel information matrix is deformed, using a deformation matrix comprising complex number base vector sets. Using the deformed channel information matrix, the plurality of the antennas are measured for reception power, and based on the reception power, antenna selection information as feedback information for adjusting transmission antenna diversity is transmitted to the base station. Thus high speed and performance is maintained, while power is distributed uniformly among transmission antennas, to make channels adapt at low speed and moreover with higher accuracy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
