PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of evaluating long term performance easily using a small amount of sample in a short time, or a method for material design of a molding requiring long term performance such as a pipe, and a method for controlling quality easily.;SOLUTION: In a test piece comprising a synthetic resin material, a tensile creep curve is measured for plural creep test stresses, and long term ductile breaking resistance performance and/or long term brittle fracture resistance performance of the molding comprising the synthetic resin are/is evaluated based on a relation between a time when a creep displacement amount in the creep curve starts to increase abruptly or a time of breaking before the creep displacement amount in the creep curve starts to increase abruptly, and the creep test stress therein.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
