PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily determinating the amount of maleic anhydride in a maleic anhydride graft polymer.;SOLUTION: A polymer wherein maleic anhydride is subjected to graft polymerization is dissolved in an aromatic compound solvent under heating and maleic anhydride in the solution is titrated by using an alcohol solution of an alkali metal hydroxide to determinate maleic anhydride contained in the graft polymer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
