PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the precise modeling of a rubbed string instrument or the like with a simple constitution by considering the interaction of longitudinal vibration and the movement of a bow in an actual rubbed string instrument.;SOLUTION: Inside a loop circuit composed of delay circuits 12, 13, 15 and 16, terminating filters 11 and 14, adders 17 and 19 and a bridge filter 22, waveform signals for simulating the vibration of a string are propagated. A variable delay circuit is provided in the bridge filter 22 and the delay time is set to be long in the case that the polarities of a bow speed Vb coincides with the waveform signals and be short in the case that both polarities are different.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
