PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity by realizing a bonding using a jig of front and rear members and to enhance a freedom of an energy absorption blank by the front member by realizing adjustment of front and rear positions of the front member even in the case where a front side member is constituted by bonding the front member and the rear member formed by casting respectively.;SOLUTION: The front side member 10 is integrally molded to a cylindrical shape of a closed cross section and is constituted by a front member 11 absorbing an energy by crush-deforming by an input load from a front part of a car body and a rear member 12 connected to a rear end part of the front member 11. The rear member 12 is formed to a close cross section shape engaged with a rear end part of the front member 11 and is divided to two parts. Joint parts 15 of the respective divided members 13, 14 are welded in the state that the front member 11 is clamped between front end parts of the respective divided members 13, 14.
