PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for information source location estimation which make it possible to search for the locations of information sources according to the data values of information sources and can present the found information sources in order according to how much they meet the intention of the user.;SOLUTION: The data values that the information sources hold are previously registered in a single dictionary together with reference information of the data values and when a keyword is inputted by the end user, the locations of information sources relating to the keyword are estimated from the data values that the information sources hold by using the dictionary.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
