PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking service system for effectively using the idle space of a parking lot and largely shortening the time that a driver requires for parking.;SOLUTION: The parking service system is provided with a server device 1 connected to a driver terminal which the driver of a vehicle possesses through a prescribed network so that communication is possible. When the server device 1 receives the request of the parking service of the vehicle through the driver terminal, it obtains the stop position of the vehicle by a prescribed method, selects the parking lot having the idle space by the prescribed method from a plurality of parking lots and informs a service person performing the substitutive operation of the vehicle of the stop position and the parking lot by a prescribed method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
