PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a procuring method improving the efficiency of materials/ machinery procuring work in a manufacturing industry and the like.;SOLUTION: This procurement supporting method consisting of a step for displaying an inquiry request document on a homepage 3 by access to the homepage 3 for procuring materials/machinery on a communication network 4, a step for selecting at least one order source by referring to an order source selecting table as to an item inputted to the inquiry request document, a step for designating the selected order source and storing an estimation request document for the item of the inquiry request document in a storage means related to the homepage, a step for answering to the access from a communication terminal of the order source for outputting the estimation request document stored in the storage means to the communication terminal. In this method, a procurement mediating organization substitutes for the order source and carries out a sequence from order to management of supply of varied types of materials/machinery procured from different order sources by using the homepage according to a single inquiry request document.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
