PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating apparatus of organic waste from animal and vegetable residues, which is capable of decreasing the areas of heat-transfer surfaces in a hydrothermal reactor.;SOLUTION: This has the hydrothermal reactor 25 which subjects the organic wastes, such as the animal and vegetable residues by pressurizing and heating the wastes to a subcritical state and executes hydrothermal reaction and a subcritical water supplying means 19 which supplies the subcritical water previously heated and pressurized up to hydrothermal conditions in the hydrothermal reactor 25 together with the organic wastes to the hydrothermal reactor 25.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
