PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspecting method for a radiographic image photographing device by which abnormality of the radiographic image photographing device is easily detected, the radiographic image photographing device, and an abnormality report system for the radiographic image photographing device which can speedily report detected abnormality. SOLUTION: For example, statistical processing is performed by using a maximum signal value and abnormality of a radiation source 31 or photographing device 10b can be detected from the processing result. Consequently, the trouble of inspecting the radiographic image photographing device can be eliminated by automatically performing the inspection, for example, right after the power source is turned on without specially taking a test photograph like before. Further, a sign for abnormality occurrence can be read by periodically performing the inspection and the abnormality occurrence to the radiographic image photographing device can be predicted and cooped with in advance. Further, the detection result of an abnormality detecting means 10cc can be reported to a maintenance center D, thereby the maintenance center D grasps whether each radiographic image photographing device becomes abnormal and its treads and performs proper processing, so that centralized and efficient management can be performed.
