POWER FACTOR IMPROVING FACILITY OF POWER SYSTEM AND TRANSFORMER FOR THE POWER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a serial reactor is large-sized, a power factor improving facility is large-sized and its installation space is large-sized since the serial reactor and the serial circuit of a capacitor for an advance phase are connected in the primary side or the secondary side of a transformer and power factor lowering due to non-load excitation current of the transformer is improved. SOLUTION: Extension windings 11A-11C adding taps to primary side main windings 10A-10C of the transformer 10 are incorporated and used as a reactor for a higher harmonic measure connected to the capacitors for the advance phase 14A-14C.
