PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of an implement for cutting a tree and a plant, having an inexpensive blade body for cutting the tree and the plant, having high performance for cutting shrubs, capable of being easily attached and having long life.;SOLUTION: This cutting machine 1 for cutting the tree and the plant, as an attachment for a power shovel has a rotary drum 3 with the many cutting blades, having the blade bodies 5 for cutting the tree and the plant, attached to the outer periphery. The blade body 5 for cutting the tree and the plant has a cylindrical handle part 51 and the cutting blades 52 formed on the outer peripheral edge of the upper end surface thereof, and the cutting blade 52 is regulated by the upper end surface of a body part, formed into a bent surface, and the concaved outer periphery surface of the upper end part of the handle part. A male screw part 57 fixable to an annular boss 6 attached to the outer periphery surface of the rotary drum body 4 by being screwed is formed at the lower end part of the handle part 51. The blade body 5 for cutting the tree and the plant has a cutting performance higher than that of a conventional plate-shaped cutting blade, and the attaching and detaching operation to the rotary drum body is also easy.
