PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and economical method for producing microsporidian spores used for producing chitin beads and chitosan beads having a uniform and fine particle diameter.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the microspoidian spores comprises adding cultured cells derived from an insect to a cell culture medium containing 5-50 wt.% of a supernatant of humor of domesticated silkworm larvae, inoculating the microsporidian spores into the culture medium, proliferating the spores and then taking out the microsporidian spores from the proliferated cells.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
