PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laccase composition having an excellent shelf life.;SOLUTION: This laccase composition is obtained by adding and mixing laccase with an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polymer having carboxy groups, e.g. alginic acid, pectic acid, hyaluronic acid, chondroitin, chondroitin sulfate, heparin, xanthan gum, gum arabic, locust bean gum, tamarind seed gum, carboxymethyl cellulose, carboxymethyl dextran, carboxymethyl chitin, carboxymethyl starch, carboxyvinyl polymer, a polyamino acid containing a polyacrylic acid residue or/and a glutamic acid residue and/or salts thereof and drying the resultant mixture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
