PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To from text and melody in a matched manner, without restriction on each other.;SOLUTION: Comon music forming data is used in forming the melody and the text. In one embodiment, the music forming data which are the original is supplied from a music creating data base A1 via a music creating data selecting section A3 to a verse creating section A4 and a melody creating section (1) A5 and the text and the melody are formed according with this music forming data; the number of notes of the melody formed by the melody creating section (1) A5 is corrected to match the number of syllables of the text formed in the verse creating section A4 in a melody correcting section A6, by which consistency is obtained between the melody and the text. In another embodiment, the verse correcting section is disposed in place of the melody correcting section A6. In still another embodiment, the melody forming section (2), having a function to make the formed melody coincident with the number of syllables of the text, is disposed in place of the melody forming section (1) A5 and melody correcting section A6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
