PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an invention of cooling water treatment of a diesel engine or the like, capable of carrying out regenerative treatment and drainage disposal based on quality of the cooling water, without draining more than required the cooling water recovered during overhaul, in an apparatus and equipment having a closed circulation cooling water system of the diesel engine or the like.;SOLUTION: In a cooling water treatment for treating cooling water in a closed circulation cooling water system of the diesel engine or the like using acid salt corrosion inhibitor like nitrite, etc., the cooling water drawn from the diesel engine during overhaul is poured into a collection tank to measure the state of the cooling water by a water quality measuring means, a control device judges the water quality of the cooling water based on the measuring result, if the cooling water is judged to be unable to recycle, the cooling water is subjected to drainage treatment to be drained to the outside of the system, and if the cooling water is judged to be capable of recycling, the cooling water is subjected to regenerative treatment and is returned to the diesel engine or the like to be used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
