PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welded joint, welding method, etc., having the good durability for long term.;SOLUTION: The end edge C in the joined part of the welded joint is formed as projecting part 2 projected at the back side B so that the plate thickness is thicker than the thickness of a platy basis material 1. In the end edge C in the joined part, a bevel 3 is formed from the front side T to the projecting part 2. A rout 4 as a point crossing the bottom of welded metal with the bottom side of the bevel 3, is positioned on the surface of the projecting part 2. Even there is small defect in the rout 4 on this welded joint, the stress acted to this rout 4 becomes small. Therefore, in the case of being the acted stress at less than a fixed fatigue limit corresponding to the material and the shape, the durable years is remarkably extended.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
