PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) double balanced mixer that is configured by the coplanar technology and can obtain a smaller entire size and a conversion gain in place of a loss encountered usu ally.;SOLUTION: The double balanced mixer for a high frequency signal includes quads of four cold transistors (TRs) of an in-line configuration that receive a signal RF to be processed at its middle terminal and receive a signal RF/2 whose phase is deviated from the signal RF by 180-degrees at both end terminals and a 180-degree coupler at an input section and an output section of the quads.
