PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for manufacturing a fireproofing thermal expansion urethane sheet having a light weight and flexibility and having excellent handleability at an execution time in a gap between a through member or a through hole wall and a through hole member and the fireproofing thermal expansion urethane sheet. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the fireproofing thermal expansion urethane sheet comprises the steps of heating and compression molding a urethane foam including a content of a thermally expansible graphite of 3 to 35 wt.% obtained by agitating, mixing and foaming at least polyol, organic isocyanate, foaming agent, the thermally expansible graphite, catalyst, foam stabilizer and flame retardant. The fireproofing thermal expansion urethane sheet is provided.
