PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy internally grooved welded tube which can correspond to a refrigerant used under high pressure because of its high strength, has excellent thermal conducting performance because the tube has high formability, and grooves of high lead-high fin shape can be formed on the inside face of the tube, and has good weldability, secondary workability and brazability.;SOLUTION: To the copper alloy used as the stock for the internally grooved welded tube made of the copper alloy, by mass, 0.05 to 2.0% Mn, 0.005 to 0.040% P, ≤1 ppm H and ≤50 ppm O are added, and the balance is Cu with inevitable impurities.
