PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the output power of communication equipment at a high speed and with high precision.;SOLUTION: This output power measuring device is provided with a receiver for receiving signal output by the communication equipment, a measurement interval identifying device for identifying the measurement interval of signals, a demodulator for deciding data encoded in modulation over the measurement interval, a power measuring device for measuring the average power of the signals over the measurement interval and a deriving device for deriving the power ratio of the carrier power to average power of the signals over the measurement interval from the data, multiplying the average power measured over the measurement interval by the power ratio and deriving the expected value of the carrier power.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
