PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-wire remote control system which can determine polarity accurately in a receiving side device.;SOLUTION: A receiving buffer 156 inverts one input from transmitting and receiving communication lines 3 and adds it to the other input. When the added result is equal to 0 or approximate to 0, logic information Rd1 is switched over which is outputted when the level of balanced pulse type power received from the communication lines 3 is inverted. A polarity discrimination part 155 discriminates the polarity when the logic information Rd1 sent from the receiving buffer 156 holds the logic level for a specified period. The polarity discrimination part 155 sends pulse group data to a data processing part 154 according to the discriminated polarity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
