In each of the automated storage and retrieval warehouse units, when the same number of the cargoes of the same type as the parallel number of the cargo transfer means are gathered on the in-storage buffer conveyor, the plurality of cargoes are transferred from the in-storage buffer conveyor onto the elevatable carriage in a lump and put in storage by the in-storage/out-of- storage travel crane.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
