PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyether silicone-containing antifouling coating composition capable of forming coating film having excellent antifouling effect against crustaceans including barnacle, aquatic organisms including seaweeds and slimes and highly adhesive to base materials, to provide ships and underwater constructs each bearing such coating film, and to provide an antifouling method for ships and underwater constructs using the composition.;SOLUTION: This antifouling coating composition is characterized by comprising (A) an antifouling agent, (B) a (meth)acrylate resin, (C) a polyether silicone with a number-average molecular weight of 500-20,000 and (D) a monobasic acid or a metal salt thereof with a molecular weight of ≥250; wherein the amount of the component D is ≥15 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
