PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of an insufficient circuit operational margin of a horizontal scanning circuit in a conventional liquid crystal display device.;SOLUTION: In the horizontal scanning circuit provided with latch circuits of multiple levels and level shifting circuits of multiple levels corresponding to the respective latch circuits, each of the latch circuits receives a data signal Data used for scanning and a pulsed clock signal C for sequential scanning of the data signal Data, outputs an open signal O for opening a transfer gate to the corresponding transfer gate and outputs the data signal Data to the next latch circuit.
