PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for progress schedule preparation which system and method each enable easy determination of a scheduled construction period of each work when a progress schedule regarding the construction of a building is prepared, and to provide a recording medium.;SOLUTION: The progress schedule preparation system prepares the progress schedule 2 regarding the construction of the building. The progress schedule preparation system is equipped with an input means, a calculation means, and an output means. The input means inputs construction information composed of at least either of the foundation work start day 21g and requested delivery day 21i of the building and a construction period type 21c determined by the kind of the foundation work of the building. The calculation means calculates a scheduled construction period of each work progress according to the inputted construction information. The output means outputs the progress schedule 2 into which the calculated scheduled construction periods are entered while being caused to correspond to respective work progress names.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
