PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settling method for a transfer fare, an automatic ticket checking and collecting machine and a card processing device providing transfers including a plurality of lines with difference managerial income and expenditure by one prepaid card and facilitating the settlement of fare distribution between the lines.;SOLUTION: In the settling method for a tranfer fare including the plurality of lines with different managerial income and expenditure, the automatic ticket checking and collecting machine and the card processing device, the prepaid card is encoded with entraining start point station data, current entrain/detrain station data, transfer station data, and remaining value data, and the automatic ticket checking and collecting machine writes already paid fare data per line determined on the basis of information read from the prepaid card into the prepaid card.
